Installation and Laying of Submarine Fibre-optic Telecommunication Systems
We carry out the complete installation and laying of submarine fibre-optic systems, managing all the operational activities necessary for laying the cable on the seabed. This work aims to create a reliable connection between two landing points, using cables designed with variable characteristics based on the depth and nature of the seabed. In addition to the cable, the system includes fundamental components such as joints, repeaters, equalizers and branching units, installed according to specific procedures.
The operations include both the laying and burying of the cable and the aforementioned components, carried out by plough or ROV (Remote Operated Vehicle) according to the needs of the project. Each installation is carried out in full compliance with the customer's specifications and on the basis of an accurate preliminary analysis of the route, which includes morphological and geotechnical analysis of the seabed, as well as identification of critical areas, either for human activities or environmental conditions.
